You don't need to install the software and the nic will run fine as is. I didn't really search through the forums here, but I am on MMO everyday of the week, and have not seem anything through my daily passing here. Since I have had everything up and running last week (CPU/MB), I've installed the driver from the CD that came with the motherboard, un-installed them, re-installed them yielding the same results.Īny thoughts or directions from the crowd here if they have any input on this. Most other times during the day, everything seems fine. The server that I play World of Warcraft on normally has me pingged at 91ms/92ms Home/World but since I have installed the new CPU/MB I have been noticing it to jump to 200-500MS on both sides during raid times. I have not gone through to disable that yet, but I am thinking that is my next avenue to gauge if I am still having issues. Others have mentioned that they have entirely disabled the Killer Network and just used it as a normal connection without this Killer Network chip that is on the board. Some people have linked websites to different addresses for different drives (which may now be outdated), for me to go there, and there is no link. I have been thumbing through the internets and have been finding that people are having issues with the Killer E2200 Gaming Network and wanted to see if people have been experiencing that here as well.
